Child Life
Monday - Friday, mornings or afternoons
Opportunities are available to work directly with the Child Life manager and specialists who develop and implement play and diversion activities for pediatric inpatients. You may assist in providing supervision of free play and group activities, as well as some bedside visitation with the children. You may also assist with developing activities, stocking supplies, cleaning toys and maintaining playrooms
Infant Cuddler
Any day, 7 a.m. - 9 p.m.
Volunteers are assigned to our Neonatal Intensive Care Unit to provide comfort to babies. You will be rocking, holding and occasionally feeding infants under the supervision of the nursing staff. You may also perform additional duties such as cleaning equipment, running errands and completing clerical work as assigned. Four-hour shifts are available during day and evening hours, including weekends.
