Tuesday and Thursday: 9:30 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.

When it comes to breast health, the new Shands Jacksonville Advanced Breast Imaging Center offers the latest in imaging technology in a warm, welcoming environment. The center is one of fewer than 20 in the United States and the only one in the region to offer some of the most advanced services.

The center has traditional mammography with computer-aided diagnosis, as well as new 3-D automated breast ultrasound and elastrography, which are noninvasive means to further evaluate a mass detected by mammogram. The center also provides bone densitometry testing to evaluate osteoporosis and other bone-deteriorating conditions.
