In addition, patients often have drooping skin under their eyes. This can be corrected by a lower blepharoplasty that removes the excessive tissue under the eye.

Microdermabrasion:
Microdermabrasion is a procedure where the outer layer of skin is removed; this allows the new skin to present an improved appearance.
Laser treatments can remove spider veins and unwanted hair, and are also used in skin resurfacing.
Plastic surgeons often remove and analyze skin, including moles, that look abnormal.
Fillers and Botox®:
Fillers and Botox® are agents used to reduce the appearance of wrinkles and other unwanted indentations in the skin. The affects are immediate and most patients are pleased with the results. The effects are not permanent and must be repeated.
Variable Pulsed Light (VPL) Facial Resurfacing:
VPL is a procedure that uses light to treat skin. It does not penetrate the skin but has positive effects on the look of the skin. Rosacea, sun-damaged skin, wrinkles, age spots and spider veins all can be effectively treated using VPL.
Scar Revisions:
Scar revisions are a common procedure performed by plastic surgeons.
Ears
Otoplasty is the surgical revision of the ears. This procedure is most often done to set prominent ears back closer to the head or to reduce the size of the ears.
Hair Removal
Variable Pulsed Light (VPL) Facial Resurfacing also can be used to remove unwanted hair.

The body can be further contoured using liposuction, a procedure that removes fat from under the skin.
