Otolaryngologists, commonly referred to as ear, nose and throat (ENT) physicians, are surgical subspecialists who treat a variety of conditions involving the ear, nose, throat and related structures of the head and neck. The division offers a wide range of patient services using the most current advances and techniques in diagnosis and management.

UF Otolaryngology at Shands JacksonvilleThe division of otolaryngology participates as an integral component of a multidisciplinary approach for the evaluation and treatment of all patients with tumors involving the head and neck. This includes collaborations with other specialties including radiation oncology and the UF Proton Therapy Institute, diagnostic and interventional neuroradiology, medical oncology, oral and maxillofacial surgery, pathology, and speech and language pathology. This approach ensures the best outcomes as treatment for each patient is individually designed to meet their particular needs.
