Diagnostic Procedures and Evaluations
The evaluation process will include the following components:
- Complete history and physical examination of the head and neck and oral cavity
- Radiographic evaluation of the maxillofacial region
- If indicated, 3-D plastic facial and skull model fabrication to facilitate diagnosis and surgery (virtual surgery)
- Team approach towards specific deformities (craniofacial deformities, head and neck cancer)
What to Expect
Each patient receives a comprehensive consultation that includes information on the injury or disease process and recommended treatment, as well as an explanation of the postoperative and recovery period.
