The University of Florida Division of Gastroenterology at Shands Jacksonville provides comprehensive care to patients with disorders of the gastrointestinal tract, liver and pancreas. Staffed by board-certified specialists in gastroenterology, the division is a regional leader in diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopy, liver disease and gastroenterology research. The division serves an important function as a leader in fellowship training, with almost half of the gastroenterologists in Jacksonville having either trained or started their careers here.
