The University of Florida Division of Emergency and Trauma Radiology provides an essential liaison between the Department of Radiology and the many faculty and staff of the busy Emergency Department and Level I Trauma Center at Shands Jacksonville. The physicians provide valuable assistance in the coordination of the delivery of radiological services needed for acutely injured or ill adult and pediatric patients. Available imaging methods include plain film examinations, computed tomography (CT), ultrasound and magnetic resonance (MR) imaging.
