When will I be able to walk after my procedure?

Patients generally are up and walking within 24 hours of surgery.

How long will I have to stay in the hospital?

Patient stays are dictated by the type of procedure. Some patients may be able to leave the same day as their surgery while other may stay as long as three days.

Will I need any physical therapy after surgery?

Patients are either sent home or to a rehabilitation facility when they are discharged from the hospital. Most patients receive home health services in the form of nursing assistance and physical therapy.
