Adolescent health issues that are evaluated and treated include:

  • Menstrual disorders, such as excessive pain or irregular bleeding. Most menstrual problems can be easily evaluated and treated.

  • Vaginal discharge or irritation. Most irritations and infections are easily diagnosed and have effective treatments.
  • Contraception. The physicians can initiate numerous methods to prevent pregnancy.
  • Male genital complaints. The physicians are expert in diagnosing and treating or referring all male genital problems.
  • Mood/emotional problems. Determinations can be made whether the teen might benefit from medications or a more in-depth evaluation by a mental health provider.
