Between the ages of 12 and 21, children go through significant biological, mental and social changes that ultimately result in the adult man or woman. University of Florida Division of Adolescent Medicine physicians are trained to evaluate and treat the many problems that may occur during the time of transition from adolescence to adulthood. Faculty members are board-certified pediatricians with subspecialty training in adolescent medicine.
