Division of Clinical Research
The division of clinical research strives to promote and responsibly conduct ethical medical research to advance our knowledge of healthcare for all.
For over 15 years, the division has been in operation. With its highly skilled staff of pharmacists who are either certified clinical research coordinators or are working toward certification, the division achieves its mission. The division's professionals also depend on support staff and over 20 pharmacists who can provide 24-hour on-call service.
The division's professionals are experienced and capable of coordinating phase II, III and IV clinical trials. Additionally, these individuals undergo extensive continuing education to stay current with laws, institutional policies, state regulations and federal rules pertaining to the proper conduct of clinical trials.
The division of clinical research is also responsible for the investigational drug service, for fostering departmental research and for providing educational opportunities for faculty, residents and students.
